Janice and Tom made us feel so welcome, and the breakfast they prepare each morning is delicious. The rooms have private bathrooms and mini fridges, and the house is close to the Clock Museum with everything else just a walk away. It’s a lovely B&B, filled with antiques and Tom’s own paintings. The gardens and yard are beautifully landscaped, and the front porch is a lovely place to sit and watch the fireflies. The rooms are beautiful, and the whole house has a relaxed feel. Everyone staying there was incredible. I’d certainly recommend a stay and enjoying their hospitality.

The whole house displays art by Tom and his father, and I enjoyed talking with Tom about art and history before our relaxed 11 a.m. checkout. We stayed in the Whistler room for one night. It was comfortable and nicely decorated. The hot water ran out while we were filling the jacuzzi tub, but Tom had it fixed by morning. Breakfast was lovely, and he was able to accommodate my gluten-free needs, which I’d told him about before check-in.

The hosts were some of the most interesting people I’ve ever met, and the rooms are fantastic. Each one is themed around a famous artist, with matching decor. The place feels warm, and there’s something interesting to see everywhere you look. The paintings are unique and special. Wonderful!

Tom was very accommodating and offered helpful ideas for restaurants and things to do. We especially enjoyed chatting with him about his art and family. The mansion is beautiful, and the personal artwork on display is stunning. Wonderful hospitality. We’ll certainly return at the first opportunity!

Tom was a gracious host who made me feel at home, and the house itself is lovely, full of his wonderful artwork. It feels like a private museum of Lancaster’s landscapes and architecture, with the character of its backroads, small towns, and cityscapes. I spent two nights in the Van Gogh room and had a wonderful time. I’d recommend the experience to anyone visiting Lancaster, PA.
