The 1425 Inn

The owner helped us figure out parking for the football game and was really sweet about it. We stayed in the Rivers suite, and the whole inn was spotless. The bathrooms were gleaming, the sheets smelled amazing, and the housekeeper was so kind and accommodating. We'd absolutely stay again.

We used 1425 Inn for an overnight event, and the staff worked around our needs without causing problems for themselves or the next guests. It's an intimate, classically decorated house with plenty of beds, seating, tables, and room to spread out. Coffee from a Keurig and breakfast were supplied, though we needed to bring our own ice, drinks, and lunch. I'd recommend booking it for an event.

I expected road noise because of the location, but it was actually peaceful and quiet. The rooms were clean, and the downstairs lobby felt cozy and looked lovely. Breakfast isn't provided, though there's a fridge and coffee amenities if you want to bring snacks or drinks. I really appreciated the quality of everything, especially as someone who loves old historic buildings.

Pam was so helpful from check-in, answering all our questions and making us feel like family visiting her home. The building is cute and unique, and the location is wonderful. If you love history and vintage homes, places like this are hard to find. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.
