The mirror wasn’t even clean, and the tub was grimy with a moldy shower curtain. There was a smell in the room, and debris on the supposedly clean beds. The floors were so dirty I doubt they ever mop.

There were bugs crawling on us while we slept, and the front desk was rude and confrontational when we raised the issue. Before that, I found foil with drugs on it and burn marks on the other side in the room, and my girlfriend found a used condom wrapper. Check-in had already started badly, with all the staff ignoring us for 10 minutes. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

I left within 25 minutes. After I requested a nonsmoking room, room 226 had a toilet full of crap, dirty floors, and bedbugs. The staff were super rude. When I asked to switch rooms, they gave me 206, which smelled strongly of cigarettes and weed and was filthy too. I don’t know how they can rent rooms like that. This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in, in my 37 years. It needs to be closed for inspection, especially for pests.

The cockroaches were everywhere, including on the tub and on the brick wall behind the attendant, who seemed surprised when I pointed one out. We were there for about two minutes before checking out. I took a quick video, but wouldn’t touch anything, so I can’t say what the appliances or anything under the towels and blankets were like. The room was filthy and nothing like the website pictures. There was dried love juice on top of the blanket, patches from an inflatable mattress glued over holes, crud on the nightstand that could’ve been wiped off, and marker drawings on the bathroom walls. After reading the reviews, it seems this has been going on; the hotel responses all sound automated and say they’ll take immediate action, but clearly nothing’s changed. Our health wasn’t worth the risk. We’ve stayed in plenty of cheap hotels and they were at least clean. My husband isn’t allowed to book rooms anymore. Zero stars.
