It's a discount motel, so you get what you pay for. Still, to me this is the safest one on this side of the city and along the whole five miles of Victory Dr. I wouldn't stay farther toward town on Victory. In my regular room, I've never had roaches, and it's usually quiet. The air works well, the bed is comfortable, and I've never felt worried or threatened, even though I'm neither armed nor imposing. Just don't leave things in an open vehicle all day or overnight. That's true everywhere. Otherwise, not much goes on unless you get involved in something.

Update 12/23/25 After I filed a report, they charged me anyway and offered no discount or courtesy adjustment. It seems the only thing they care about is getting paid. No returns, refunds, or flexibility. Every room is badly damaged and things don't work. I wouldn't recommend staying there. When I arrived alone, I felt especially unsafe as a woman. The door was flimsy and shaky, barely closed, and its handle spun around like clock hands. While I was showering, the showerhead came off and hit my arm under the force of the water. It was a nightmare. The place feels like a horror movie set, though it might be decent if the owner invested even a little in the business.

We booked a supposed last-minute special through Priceline, where you pay the nonrefundable rate before finding out which hotel you've been assigned. At the OYO, they said our reservation wasn't in their system. I showed the confirmation on my phone, and the man just shrugged and said they couldn't help, but offered a room for $65. Following Priceline's advice, I called OYO. They said the property had canceled because no room was available and that a refund was being processed. Priceline told me no refund was in progress. Now I'm stuck spending time chasing my money. It's unbelievable that Priceline lists this dump as a partner, and it makes me wonder about Priceline too.

There are bed bugs and roaches, and they cheat you out of money whenever they can. We paid 308 for a one-bed room, which is packed with all our stuff. I asked to move to a king-size room because we have so much to bring, but he wouldn't move us. The whole facility has just two washers and dryers.

There was no heat at all, and the bedding was stained yellow, with holes in the bed cover. The room was filthy and had cockroaches when we arrived. Don't bring your family here, it didn't feel safe at all.
