Joy and Jade at the front desk turned our late night arrival into a really warm welcome. My family and I had driven down from New Jersey for my brother’s military basic training graduation, and we didn’t know Columbus or what to expect. They helped us get settled quickly, checked that we had what we needed, and were so patient and cheerful despite working the late shift. Their tips on restaurants, things to do, and places to explore ended up being some of our favorite parts of the trip. They made us feel cared for, comfortable, and welcome like family. The rest of the staff was great too, and the whole stay became more fun and memorable than we’d expected. Joy and Jade were such a highlight, and I can’t thank them enough. If we come back to the area, we’ll definitely stay at this hotel again.

The building’s architecture and atmosphere really caught my attention. I got excited just driving up to the entrance. The rooms are small and basic, without as many of the extras you might expect at a Marriott property, but the M Club was a pleasant surprise. I’ve run into several that were under renovation, had limited hours, closed on weekends, or served below par snacks and food. This one was nice, though there was no weekend breakfast or snacks in the M Club. The onsite restaurant Houlihan’s was amazing. I also found a new favorite beer, Red Jacket. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

We had a great stay, and both the breakfast and staff were good. The internet was out, but we hardly spent time in the room anyway. It would’ve been nice to watch Netflix, though. Five stars from me because they let me check in an hour early. Thanks!

The room’s bed and decor were great, and the staff were amazing, helpful, polite, and just good natured. I loved the service and location. There was mold above the vent, but the staff let us move rooms. In the new room there was pink discoloration near the vent too, which I think might also be mold. The shower and mini fridge had rust, and the place needs renovation.

Columbus wasn’t having the best weather that weekend, but the staff at Columbus Marriott made the visit much better. Maureen Lennon and her Front Desk staff were accommodating, helpful, professional, and so polite. The M Lounge staff were nice as well. I’m looking forward to staying here again soon!
