Days Inn & Suites Commerce

There are lots of places to eat and shop nearby, and the hotel is affordable, pet friendly, clean, and has breakfast. I traveled with my little service dog and appreciated that they welcomed us. We arrived late in the evening, and the woman at the desk was kind, got us checked in quickly so we could rest after a long day, and even gave my service animal a treat. The one concern is that there’s no elevator. As a disabled person, I wouldn’t have been able to stay if they hadn’t had a ground-floor room. If stairs are difficult or impossible for you, keep that in mind.

The staff were polite and gave me helpful information, and check-in went smoothly. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Online checkout was handy, too.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place stood out. The staff were outgoing and friendly, and Julianna made check-in such a pleasant change from other places. The cleanliness was the best of anywhere I’ve stayed. Whoever did the upgrades clearly thought through how to make cleaning easy.

The front desk boy didn’t seem to care when I found hair from a previous guest in the tub. He said the manager would help, but she wasn’t there until the next day and didn’t help either. In 24 hours I only saw three staff members working, which struck me as odd. The area didn’t feel safe, either. I won’t stay again. Look up the maps and the area before deciding to book here. People saying this place is clean are probably family. The lobby was clean, but it’s small and not much to clean.
