Hampton Inn Concord

This is my favorite hotel, and I’m always glad I stayed. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, the service is great, and I’ve never been disappointed. Breakfast is the best, and I love having coffee in the room, lobby, and breakfast area. For this trip, the location made it easy to reach good restaurants in down town Concord and Mt. Diablo, where my group was headed the next morning. We’d driven for a while from the coast north of San Francisco the day before. I can’t recommend Hampton Inn enough.

We had to travel on very short notice, and the nearby Hampton Inn became a refuge while construction was going on at our daughter’s house and newborns were home. It exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, and every interaction felt thoughtful and welcoming. Our room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable. I travel constantly, and the water pressure was so good it deserves a mention. On our last morning, our daughter and son-in-law came by to see us off. I asked the manager if they could sit with us for coffee in the breakfast area, and she insisted they stay and eat breakfast. That small gesture says a lot about the place. We’ll absolutely stay here when visiting our grandchildren, and we’re grateful for the care we received.

The location was great, near the freeway but you’d never know it. My room faced the freeway and I slept great without hearing anything. Nell was wonderful and gave me good food recommendations. The hotel was super clean and nice, with free breakfast and healthy choices, plus a filtered water station for refills. The room AC worked well without the usual noise, and the gym had lots of equipment. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area.

Check-in through checkout went smoothly, and all the staff were courteous. The room was spacious and clean. I liked the body wash and the liquid hand soap, and the water dispenser on the ice machine came in handy. Breakfast was included, though as expected it wasn’t anything special. The toilet paper felt like thin sandpaper. I’d stay here again because the hotel is clean and hospitable.
