Patti and Tom made our weekend really enjoyable. Breakfast was homemade, generous, and delicious, and Patti was thoughtful about special dietary needs. The care in all the little details made us comfortable, and we’ll return on our next trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Parking is tight, which is why I gave the location four stars, but there are two great restaurants across the street and it’s easy to get around on foot.

Patti, the owner and host, is warm, attentive, and easy to talk to. She made us feel like old friends. The inn was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the location was convenient for downtown Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Breakfast was excellent, too. My only reason for taking off a star was that our room and bathroom were quite small.

Patti and Tom welcomed us so warmly that we felt right at home. They also know the area really well. And the breakfasts were delicious! We had a lovely weekend at the Rose and Thistle and will be back.

My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and loved our stay. The house is lovely, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is fantastic. We enjoyed the town and our hosts, and plan to come back.

Patti was so accommodating, and I really liked my clean, comfortable, private room. She always had good suggestions for places to eat and things to see, and housekeeping did a great job every day. Breakfast is amazing. I’ll be back, and I highly recommend it.
