Kayaks and other free water access helped make the price a little easier to accept, though nearly $500 for three nights with a shared, do-it-yourself kitchen still felt steep. The lake view from every room is lovely, and the staff were super friendly. This is an old-fashioned motor inn with some updates. There are rotten floorboards beneath the new carpet or linoleum, rusty grills that are nearly unusable, and a lot of poison ivy beside the walkways. Getting to the dock means hiking up and down a steep driveway, so it's not accessible for people with mobility issues. And to be clear, there is no beach. For a swimming beach, you have to drive down the road and pay an entrance fee. Given how expensive the area is, this motel was an acceptable choice, but I'd stay somewhere else if I returned.

Breakfast comes with the stay, though there's no dining room. You can eat at the picnic tables, and there are Adirondack chairs and charcoal grills too. It's nice to have lake access across the road, with kayaks and paddle boards available. Our room was clean, but basic and old, with a very small shower stall. The TVs are tiny, if you care about that. It's expensive for what's here, though you're paying for the location.

We loved this cute, quaint place during our week in Cooperstown for baseball. The owner is amazing and genuinely nice, and really, the whole staff is. Comfy beds and a hot tub would have made it even better. I highly recommend terrace motor inn.

It's a clean, quiet, basic older motel, not a luxury place, with a great lake view and a handy spot between Glimmerglass and Cooperstown. They even let me charge my plug-in hybrid from the outlet shared with the vending machine.

We wanted somewhere peaceful for a few nights, and this little spot by the lake was just right. It's no-frills, with nice rooms and great staff. Cooperstown's hubbub is a bit farther away, but Cooperstown Dreams Park was close enough for my son to play baseball. Highly recommend Terrace Motor Inn!
