I’ve always liked the location and felt safe here, including back when it was a Courtyard. But after my latest stay under the new ownership, I had some uncomfortable experiences that mean I won’t return. The stay itself was okay, with a comfortable bed and good breakfast, though the gym could use some attention. The deposit situation was the problem. They wanted a $100 deposit and said cash was preferred. When I asked to put it on my card, they told me it would take three weeks to get it back, so I had to leave and find an ATM. They also gave me attitude when I asked for a receipt for the cash, saying they couldn’t provide one unless I paid by card. I’ve never run into that at a hotel. At checkout, a staff member went to inspect the room and came back with a box of cigarettes and a lighter, saying she’d found them on the nightstand. Neither my boyfriend nor I smoke. It felt suspicious, almost like someone had planted them to justify keeping the deposit. I did get my money back, but the whole thing left me very uncomfortable.

The lobby was clean and smelled lovely, with candles everywhere. The manager and the other employees were all very nice, and breakfast was good. You can tell they’re taking care of the hotel, and when we had an issue, it was fixed right away.

Really good stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the location was great, breakfast was good, and the staff were super friendly.

The location was perfect, and both the room and service were nice. Gabby (I believe that was her name) was especially sweet and helpful, with amazing customer service.
