Breakfast was included, with waffles, pastries, fresh fruit, and more, and the room was completely clean and quiet. It also had some artwork, a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. I expected little at this price, so I was pleasantly surprised. A great place to stay if you're heading to Mesa Verde, and an unbeatable price.

The young man at the front desk was great when we checked in, and the room was nicely decorated. The bathroom door was difficult to close and needs fixing. The low rating is because the AC didn't work, leaving us hot all night and sleeping poorly. I'm usually cold, so that says a lot, and my partner has trouble breathing in the heat. I told the woman at the desk, and she just said, "oh ok" and wrote down our room number. She showed no interest in refunding any money. Poor customer service.

After a long day on the road, booking online five minutes before we arrived and finding the front desk already had me in their system was a huge relief. The only rooms initially available were upstairs, and I was with my 81-year-old mother, whose back had hurt all day. I asked if they had a first-floor room so she wouldn't need to take the stairs. Ed at the front desk first said they were out, then checked further and found one we could move to. It was a godsend for her. The room was spacious, clean, and looked recently updated. Great value for the price. Ed was so kind and helpful, and I'll definitely stay here on future trips. Great staff and great value. I'm grateful I picked this place.

The outside looks a little rough, but inside is a gem. The front desk woman was nice and super accommodating. Our remodeled room was clean and nothing fancy. For the price, it can't be beat. I'd stay again.
