Finding the parking lot entrance was tricky from the west, especially since there were no signs to point the way. Coming from Interstate 29 or Omaha, you have to go down to the street leading to the AMC Theater and make a U-turn; there doesn’t seem to be another way in. Signs near the entrance would help, particularly at night or in snow. With a vehicle, it’s an economical and convenient base for time in the Omaha area. The room was comfortable and quiet, with a large screen TV that worked well and a desk directly below it. Rooms are smaller than at standard hotels, as expected for a Microtel, but there’s enough space for one or two people. The window seat makes the room feel a little larger and is a nice spot to look outside. We were also several blocks from the Interstate, and our room faced away from it, so it stayed quiet. Breakfast was very good: biscuits and gravy, make-your-own waffles, raisin flakes, corn flakes and another cereal, bagels with cream cheese and other breads, yogurt, apples, bananas, instant grits, and instant oatmeal. There weren’t eggs, probably because of the increased cost.

We come to Omaha about 4-5 times a year and keep choosing this hidden gem. It’s close to downtown, the highway, and plenty more, and the staff are great and the rooms are clean. Thanks for always making our stays good. We’ll be back another 3-4 times in 2026!

The rates are great for a hotel, and the rooms have Cox cable, a mini fridge, and a comfortable bed. The lobby is nice and breakfast is free. The walls are very thin, so you can clearly hear people around you. The pillows are thin too, so you may want to ask for extras.

We were on a quick road trip and only needed somewhere to sleep. The room wasn’t large, but it had what we needed and was clean. We had a dog, so they put us on the first floor next to the door, which was a nice bonus. Wonderful staff and breakfast, too.

A good value for a quick overnight. We requested a first-floor room and got a single queen. It was clean, the desk staff were nice, and we slept well. We didn’t use any of the amenities on this trip.
