Motel 6 Charleston West Cross Lanes

I've been here for a few nights and have probably been a bit of a pain as a guest, but they've stayed polite and handled everything quickly. The place is spotless and well put together, and it's affordable. Best of all, you don't have to be 21. It's not a big fancy hotel with room service, but that's fine by me. It has what you need to feel comfortable away from home for a while.

For a quick overnight stop on a budget, the Motel 6 in Cross Lanes is a practical, no-frills option. It's close to the highway, which is handy when you're passing through, and the room has the basics for a night's sleep. The facilities feel dated, though, and cleanliness can be hit or miss. It's pet-friendly and affordable, but don't expect luxury or lots of amenities. If a bed and a roof are enough, it'll do the job.

I needed somewhere to stay for several weeks. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was convenient for what I needed.

Roaches were everywhere, even in the pillowcases. They flat out refused to refund us, and the man with the heavy Indian accent was incredibly rude and aggravated. If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give.
