Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Glade

We left three days early from what was supposed to be a weeklong stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the unit and general area were nice, and the rooms were good. But I was woken up by lawn and gardening equipment every morning, sometimes around 6am. The few activities on offer were canceled without notice, and there wasn't much else to do. We had to drive everywhere, though The Center was only about 2 miles from our unit, and everything shut down at 8pm, leaving nothing to do after dinner except stay in. This is inside a retirement community, where they schedule and control the activities. Wyndham just rents out some of the units and has nothing to do with those activities. I had written up more about everything that went wrong, but Google wouldn't let me post that much, so I deleted it. Sorry. This stay was in August 2023, though I'm only posting now. I don't know whether anything has changed there.

It was a good first stay at a Wyndham resort. The condo was roomy and really nice, with the essentials provided. I took off a star because I had to ask for dishwasher tabs, though the service team brought them right away, so service gets five stars from me. It didn't look like every restaurant was open, but we didn't try to go to them.

I was impressed with how well maintained the whole resort is. Our condo was in very good shape, set among neighborhoods around a well-kept golf course with paved walking trails. For a timeshare resort village, it's very nice. The community center is great too, with a large pool, hot tub, saunas, indoor pickleball and basketball courts, plus meeting rooms.

We came back after staying here last year, and the condo was just as good, maybe even better. The grounds are spotless and the staff are awesome. Whenever I had a question, I texted them and got an answer right away. I've had all my questions answered. I can't say enough about Club Wyndham in Fairfield Glade.
