Kimpton Pittman Hotel – Downtown Dallas by IHG

We came for two nights to celebrate my best friend’s 50th birthday, and everyone we met at The Pittman made the weekend feel special. Marisa welcomed us to Saturday’s Brunch & Beats and offered my friend a complimentary glass of champagne when she heard it was her birthday. The DJ gave it a cool feel, and people watching was fun. Maurio helped us choose from the tempting menu, and his suggestion was delicious. I’d especially recommend the eggs Benedict. Holli, one of the managers, was also lovely and clearly cared about how our stay was going. At check-in, Tristan was helpful and suggested great places to eat around Deep Ellum, which we don’t know well. He even gave us his card in case we had more questions. We’d thought about ordering breakfast to the room the next morning, but went downstairs instead and were glad we did. I’ve worked in customer service for years, and the care we got from every staff member really stood out. I’d definitely recommend The Pittman in this fun part of Dallas.

We spent 3 nights and 4 days at The Kimpton Pittman Hotel and I honestly didn’t want to leave. Anthony was warm, receptive, and made us feel welcome, while the valet’s in and out privileges made driving around easy and stress free. The free bikes were a fun way to explore downtown, and the daily happy hour from 5-6 PM was a nice start to the evening. I also loved using the hot tub with the bath salts they provided. We managed to get a 4 PM late checkout, which gave us more time on the trip. Be sure to try the on-site restaurant too. It was a fantastic, relaxing stay.

The neighborhood made this stay especially convenient: there are restaurants and bars across the street, and downtown is an easy walk. The hotel was spotless and felt modern and almost brand new, with comfortable rooms and friendly, professional staff. Breakfast was really well done, and the rest of the food was excellent too. I had a fantastic visit, highly recommend the place, and will be back.

I’ve stayed at plenty of five-star luxury hotels, including Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, and Mandarin Oriental, but the service at the Kimptom Pittman Hotel beat them all for me. The staff were consistently courteous and friendly, and the hotel was very clean. My room had everything I needed. I’d definitely recommend this place.
