Motel 6 Dallas, TX

I left after only two hours because I didn’t feel safe or comfortable. There were dark stains on the bedding, and noise from the people in the next room kept me from sleeping. I asked the front desk to do something, but they did nothing and said I could handle it myself. They also said I couldn’t get a refund until the next day. When I called later to ask for the refund, they hung up on me. Horrible place to stay, and the staff weren’t helpful.

For a short stop or overnight rest, Motel 6 Dallas, TX does the job as an affordable, practical place to stay. The rooms are plain, but clean and have the basics for a comfortable night. Free Wi-Fi and parking are useful extras for anyone passing through. It’s a low-key spot without the comforts of a higher-end hotel, but it works for a brief stay or when you just need somewhere functional to sleep.

The room was okay for an overnight with my son, but freeway noise was the main drawback. I asked for a roll of toilet paper and they didn’t seem happy to give me a new one. The roll they handed over was already open, which was odd, especially since the one in the room was already more than half used at check-in. For $82 a night, I expected better.

The room was spacious and the A/C worked great, but the bed was so worn that it felt like we were sleeping on the box spring. We woke up really sore. There were only two pillows on the king bed, and the bathroom door hit the toilet whenever we closed it.
