The gated entry and location make this feel like a safe place, and security stays on top of things. There’s a dog park with a pooper scooper, too. If something does come up with the property, and that’s a big “if,” they’ll treat you like family. And when you leave the office, remember to say Merry Christmas. It’s customary.

The mattresses are old, and the room smells like cat pee. There are rats in the walls, too. They don’t serve breakfast anymore, and it feels like they’re pocketing the money instead of replacing the mattresses. I asked for another room because I didn’t want to stay in the middle room with that smell. He made me wait until 3, just long enough for me to write this post. I still have 30 minutes to wait.

I was harassed here more than once, and eventually had to call paramedics. Then the company charged me for no reason. They take different deposit amounts, $100 from me, while some people paid $50 and others $70. What kind of scam is this, making up a reason to keep a deposit? I work from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., come back, and go to bed. I barely used the room and left it in great condition without damage. I even have two witnesses. How can you treat a guest this way? I wonder if the hotel was upset that I had to be taken to the hospital after one of their own guests harmed me, and charged me illegally because of it. I knew the woman at the front desk, and she’d been so kind to me, so I’m shocked. Maybe it was all an act. I’d been ready to leave a great review, but now I’m wondering whether I should press charges.

For an $84 stay, I think this place is overpriced. You can get a lot more for that money, though it is a two-star hotel, so expectations shouldn’t be too high. The staff were friendly, and the security guard, “Big Boy,” was especially great and made us feel safer. We still had a nice stay and will come back.
