My wife and I spent the day we got married here for our honeymoon, and it's something we'll remember for the rest of our lives. The hotel is beautiful, and the spa was perfect. David and Colette went way out of their way to make the honeymoon memorable. They truly seemed to care about guests, and I'm honestly amazed by how far above and beyond they went. We'll make it back to the Joule at least once a year. Can't wait to return. I also recommend buying the robes, they're really comfortable.

The rooftop pool was a highlight, with a great city view and a relaxing place to spend time. I also really liked the spa, which left me feeling refreshed. The food and drinks at CBD Provisions and Midnight Rambler were fantastic. Inside, the rooms were clean, stylish, and thoughtfully equipped. The mix of old architecture and modern design at The Joule Hotel made the place feel more like an art gallery than a hotel.

I went to the Spa at the Joule for my birthday, and the service and facilities were beyond what I expected. Cedric, who has more than 20 years of experience, took me through the Joule Service so smoothly and explained each part: the foot scrub, dry brush and scrub, then warm gloves to remove the salt. He got the shower temperature right for me, and after that I had a full body hot stone massage. He checked throughout that the pressure felt right, and the massage was amazing. I left deeply relaxed. I highly recommend the Joule Spa, the Joule Service, and asking for Cedric. You’ll thank me later, I promise!

The room looked impressive, and the view from our 17th floor Joule Suite facing The Eye was a real highlight. But the rest of our Valentine’s weekend at The Joule didn’t justify the roughly $1,500+ total. I’d booked weeks ahead, paying about $900 per night, around $300 for rose petals, medium roses, and chocolates, and more than $550 for spa services. I still had to repeatedly chase the concierge for updates and eventually raise my concerns with someone higher up just to confirm the arrangements would be handled. At those prices, basic plans shouldn’t take that much follow-up. Dinner at one of the hotel restaurants was a letdown too. The tables were so close together that there was no romantic atmosphere. The espresso tasted overly acidic and unbalanced, and our steak and eggs arrived cold. That food and service were disappointing for a hotel presenting itself as luxury. The house car service was the one bright spot. Joshua and James were professional, personable, and genuinely nice to talk to. They showed the kind of hospitality I’d hoped to see throughout the stay. The property is beautiful, but inconsistent service, lack of attention, and disappointing dining took away from the visit. For that kind of spend, I’d put my money elsewhere.

David and the whole team were kind, professional, and genuinely caring when an unexpected situation came up during my stay. They made sure we were looked after and went well beyond what was needed. I’m grateful for the hospitality and looking forward to coming back for the visit they arranged for us. The Joule also has beautiful art, a great atmosphere, and outstanding service, plus awesome drinks. It’s one of Dallas’s top hotels, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting.
