The room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, and the lake view was gorgeous. But the chairs and tables outside were covered in bird poop and cobwebs. A little effort to clean the outdoor furniture would make it easier for guests to enjoy. We had no TV or WiFi the first night because the TV and dish had no power, and there were no instructions in the room. When we mentioned it the next morning, we were told we had to turn on a switch by the door. That should have been explained or posted. The ice machine was out of order too, and it would have helped to know that at check-in.

The staff were so nice, and the rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. Excellent stay, and I’ll definitely come back.

My furnace stopped working, and I needed somewhere warm in a hurry. The Point Resort came through when I needed it. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and I had a great stay. I’ll definitely return, maybe for a summer vacation. Highly recommend.

We had an awesome time at the point, and the cocktails and fried mushrooms were great. Kim was a terrific bartender. I wanted steamed oysters, but they didn’t have them, so I ordered grilled instead. At first I didn’t realize they came with compound garlic butter and parmesan cheese, and I’m not a fan of melted cheese on oysters. They took them back to the kitchen and grilled them plain, and they were delicious. They were excellent oysters, just like the ones I’d get in Florida, so I didn’t miss Florida. The company was awesome too. Thanks to the point, can’t wait for spring.
