Super 8 Danville

We stayed in January just after a snowstorm. The room wasn't anything special, but it was fine: fairly clean, quiet, and with a comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was limited, but that seemed reasonable for the price and the off-season.

I stayed here for several weeks while my house in a nearby small town was being renovated. I expected little from a budget hotel, so I was surprised by how good it was. The lobby and rooms were in exceptionally good shape, with modern furnishings and decor, and the website photos were accurate, which is rare these days. It was quiet, and I felt completely safe. Housekeeping and maintenance did a great job keeping everything clean and in good repair. The front desk staff were accommodating, friendly, and professional, especially Prince Patel, and they handled any help I needed quickly. I'd highly recommend it for a quick stop while passing through or a longer stay for work or other needs.

The staff were friendly, and the price was great. Everything was good overall, though the bathtub could've been cleaner. I'd stay here again.

After a long day, I decided to drive the hour and 45 minutes back home instead of staying. I walked in, saw that the rooms didn't look like the pictures, and noticed the smell. I won't make that mistake again, probably not with any of the temporary lodging places around here.
