The pool was outstanding, with a nice big hot tub, and the hotel is right across the street from the marathon shuttles. But they offer runners nothing, which feels like a missed opportunity. Sunday breakfast starts late, and they could have changed the hours or let people use the facilities without being asked. I asked the front desk the night before if I could toast my own bread in the morning. After checking with the manager, the desk clerk came back saying they didn't have a toaster. That was ridiculous and obviously untrue. The next morning, another woman at the desk let me use one. I had the hotel breakfast the following morning, and it was good. I've stayed at two Springhill Suites in recent years, and both were beautiful and clean. Both, including this one, had awful mattresses and pillows. Nobody in my party slept well, and it's nearly impossible to get a good night's rest in these hotels. Whoever chooses their mattresses and pillows needs to be fired. The stay was okay overall, but I may have to avoid this brand since they don't seem to prioritize a good night's sleep.

The rooms are spacious and nice, and they keep them clean, but they're always booked. Breakfast is served, and there's a pool shared by the three hotels on site. Expect extra costs, too, since they charge fees like parking and resort fees for every night.

UPDATE: Before we left, I took a star off because breakfast was severely lacking. Every morning it was sausage patties and scrambled eggs, plus a small selection of carbs like bread, bagels, and English muffins, cereal, and juice. That was basically all there was, with no day-to-day variety. The hotel's in a very convenient part of Deadwood, SD, and the rooms are roomy and quite nice. They have the usual amenities, including a fridge, microwave, large bathroom, shower and tub with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, plenty of TV channels, a couch, portable table, large desk, good lighting, and lots of outlets.

The place looks recently renovated, and everything felt clean and pleasant. Our room was tastefully furnished, parking was manageable, and the pool looked nice. Cheyanne was cheerful and easy to work with, and she knew the area well. When we asked, she had good recommendations too. We had a fantastic stay.

We loved how relaxing this place felt, especially hanging out by the fire pits and meeting fun people. The suites were roomy and very clean, and the pool and Jacuzzi were wonderful. Being able to use them from 6am till 12:00am was great. The gentleman handling breakfast did an excellent job keeping everything fresh and ready even with the hotel packed, and he was really nice. Thanks for a great experience.
