The hotel felt noisy and uncomfortable at night, with people lingering in the hallways and common areas late into the evening. The atmosphere didn't feel relaxing or particularly family-friendly, and the crowd and upkeep gave me the impression that cleanliness and standards are slipping. There were also bottles of water in the room priced at $6 each, which felt excessive. For a hotel at this level, I think at least one complimentary bottle should be provided. We were traveling on a family road trip, and the stay didn't meet expectations, especially for a Marriott property. The place feels dated and tired, and I expected more comfort, cleanliness, and service. The bathroom was cramped, and the toilet was unusually low and uncomfortable. The room didn't have enough pillows; we called for more, but they never arrived. Service response overall felt lacking. It was acceptable, but not a positive or memorable stay. There are probably better options in the Dearborn area at the same price, and I probably wouldn't come back.

The lobby renovations look modern while still feeling inviting, and the hotel sits in a clean, beautiful area. You can see the care put into the property and guest experience. The welcome from Marshall at the front desk made a real difference. He was warm, professional, and attentive, and made me feel at ease from the start. Having worked in hospitality, I know how rare and memorable that first impression can be. He clearly cared about making the stay a good one. Kudos to the leadership team for a culture where details matter and staff like Marshall can shine. I'd happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming stay.

The building seems old, but it's been kept up well for its age, and the bathroom was especially clean. The staff member who checked us in was super friendly, and the service was great. Still, the walls are paper-thin. I could hear everything happening in the room next to us. The electrical outlets and switches are outdated and need updating.

The front desk people were awesome, and the staff were great. The bar was good, though a little overpriced, which I expected at a hotel. It's an old motel that's been remodeled, but there's only so much you can change while still having that motel feeling.
