Ramada Decatur TX

We've stayed with Choice Hotels all over and can say this was the most disgusting one we've ever visited. We finally packed up and left around midnight because the bed was so uncomfortable and the AC was too noisy to sleep through. The bed sagged so badly that one of us slid toward the edge, and the pillow was thick at one end and skinny at the other. The bathroom floor, toilet, and mini fridge were filthy, and there was a bit of poop on the toilet when we arrived. The tub had mold around the caulk. The couch felt sticky, and the desk wobbled because its legs weren't secure. The TV leaned against the back of its cabinet, so you couldn't see the screen from either the bed or the couch. The phone and the outlets for the hair dryer didn't work. There was a coffee maker beside a dead outlet, but no coffee, and the AC sounded like a coffee grinder. Outside, the grounds were overgrown with weeds and tall grass. Getting into the lot was hard because of deep ruts, and getting out was dangerous, with a high lip leading into highway traffic. The trash can by one of the outside doors was overflowing and smelled horrible. That's the general picture. We'll never stay at this Rodeway Inn again or recommend it.
