The way they handled a shirt I accidentally left behind really sealed it for me. I texted after realizing it was missing while flying home from DEN, and they had a solution right away. No bouncing me between departments. The whole system was smooth, from the entry code to the secure key lockbox, and there’s a coffee bar open around the clock. I never actually met anyone in person since I arrived after midnight and left early the next morning, but the service still stood out. I’ve stayed at plenty of downtown Denver hotels over the past decade, including one for five days of quarantine early in the COvID-19 pandemic, and this one felt different in a good way. It’s a restored Victorian cottage with comfortable rooms that feel like part of an old western mansion. The location works well for the convention center, government offices, and LoDo nightlife. I only wish I’d had more time there.

The brass tub was such a relaxing treat, and it’s big enough for two. We stayed in Room #9 for two nights and slept really well, even though the rooms are close together and the noise was minimal. Urban Cowboy Denver has so many beautiful, unusual details to look at. It worked perfectly for our time in the city, and the pizza next door was 10/10. Thanks for the hospitality!

I came away feeling refreshed, and that dreamy tub was a big part of it. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the whole place looks stunning. They’ve kept its original charm while putting together a really thoughtful interior. Staff were wonderful and even offered me a drink when I arrived. Public House, the bar and restaurant on-site, had delicious food, and I loved sitting by the fire pits outside. It’s close to Denver city center, so it works for a visit or a staycation. I’d absolutely recommend it.

UC has a fun speakeasy feel, with distinctive drinks and service that’s top tier. The wood-fired pizza and seasonal food are great too. It’s a high-class hotel that’s still affordable, and I’d put the bar among Denver’s best for a good night and conversation.

We had a lovely romantic night away from the toddler, and Suite 16 was so cozy. The details are carefully chosen, from the robes and minibar to the cups at the water station. It feels luxurious and high end while still being fun and accessible, without any snobbish attitude. We didn’t get to Public House this time, but there’ll definitely be a next one. I think we’ll request #4, and hopefully work our way through every room eventually.
