Ramada by Wyndham Diamondhead I-10/Gulfport

We felt safe, and the area was quiet. The room and hotel were clean, and there weren’t many people around during our one-night stay. The waffle batter may have been old; even after the timer went off, the waffle wasn’t cooked through and had a strange, almost fruity consistency. Breakfast wasn’t very good. They require a $100 incidental charge, which they say will be returned in 3-7 days, even if you booked through the Wyndham website. I might stay again, but the women at the front desk and that charge would probably make me try somewhere else.

The pool and hot tub smelled like urine, and the hot tub wasn’t even warm. The room was just okay, with a tiny bathroom and stained towels stored 10 feet away. The sodas in the machine were expired, and there weren’t any signs marking the hotel. I’d ask for my money back, but it’s been a long day and I’m leaving early in the morning anyway. This place is garbage, and I don’t know how it gets good reviews. I try to be fair when I review places. It’s hard to find a good hotel in this area, and this one was almost as bad as the different place I picked last time. I won’t be back and can’t recommend it.

It’s always quiet despite being right by I-10, and the hotel is clean, neat, and well maintained. The young lady hosting is amazingly nice and smart. I often stop here to rest after fishing trips to Louisiana, and it’s my go-to when I’m heading back to GA. A good place for a night’s rest. Danny Ashley

The floors in our king room were tile and slippery because it was raining. Service was efficient and friendly during our one-night stay. We left too early for breakfast, but coffee was ready at 5:40 AM, thank you! The hotel is near the highway, DQ, and a Bar & Grill, all within walking distance. Watch your GPS: if you miss the street into the hotel, you’ll end up back on the highway. Don’t go past the DQ. We’d stay again. Thank you!
