The bed was extremely comfortable, and the rooms were spotless, roomy, and well maintained. Check-in went smoothly, and everyone was friendly, polite, and ready to help.

The TV came on when we checked in. We switched it off to go to dinner, and when we returned, the only channel we could get was a Humana Medicare Advantage infomercial. The front desk said they'd send someone, but it was never fixed during our two-night stay. Free WiFi worked, but when I tried streaming a movie from my computer to the TV, nine bright spots interfered with the picture. The bed was comfortable, though it was the smallest queen size ever. There were other problems too: sticky laminate flooring with nail heads sticking up in spots, wires coming out of the wall where a smoke detector had been, and the front of the nightstand drawer ripped off. The sink backed up, with ramen noodles floating up from a previous occupant.

Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, so I had a nice stay.

The staff said at check-in that we could move to another room if we didn't like ours. When we went back to ask, we were told we'd have to pay extra to change rooms. The room was poor: the floor, TV remote, and sofa were broken, and the bathroom and floor were dirty. I don't recommend staying here.

I expected somewhere less seedy looking. We arrived at night, and check-in itself went smoothly, though the outside lighting wasn't very good. Once we got to our room, I couldn't get the door open. I scanned the key about six times; the handle turned each time, but the door stayed shut. I started feeling uneasy and took it as a sign to leave, so I got back in the car and went down the street to another hotel. I lost the points I'd used for the room, but my instincts said to go. We checked into Bally, then returned to the Days Inn to hand back the key. No one was at the desk. We waited ten minutes, left, and came back the next morning to return it. I don't often get a bad feeling like that, but when I do, I act on it. I'll never stay here.
