There was no shower curtain or toilet paper, and the holder was broken. The tub needs reglazing and has a rusty drain. We only had two towels and had to ask for more. The outlet for the floor lamp didn't work, and another outlet was just a hole in the wall with no cover.

I'm sorry, I know it's a budget-friendly motel, but I've never stayed anywhere this filthy. There were trash bags in the hallway and scattered around the property, hair in the drain, dust built up on the intake vents, stains on the chair and sheet, and our non-smoking room smelled disgusting. The lamps didn't work, and the service was horrible. We changed rooms because there was literally hair in the bed sheets, like they hadn't been changed. The new room wasn't any better. This property puts no effort into cleanliness. Beware.

We were only looking for a place to rest during our trip, but ended up leaving and getting home three hours later. The first room had an overflowing, broken toilet, and the replacement room key didn’t work. We finally got another room that looked a little better and had a remote, so the kids put on SpongeBob while we tried to settle in. I had a strange feeling when I looked at the chair and door, but didn’t want to worry my family. About ten minutes later, while we were all laughing and still awake, a man opened our door. I screamed. Thank goodness the chain was on and we hadn’t gone to sleep. The rooms were filthy. The fridge had food and stains in it, and the top sheets had burn holes. The only nice thing was the artwork by the beds and the little landscaped area in the back courtyard. The front desk had warned us that if a room was missing its remote, we’d be out of luck because people take them. Our 4th of July night was ruined.

The front area staff were very nice to deal with, but the rooms need much better care. The building was hard to identify from the Google photos, since the main pictures showed a beautiful inner courtyard and the hotel turned out to be sticking out from the side of a liquor store. Our room had cigarette burns on the cover and sheets, a damp carpet by the bathroom that stayed wet all night, and a shower that leaked constantly and had black mold. The dripping had left a puddle of stagnant water nearby. I noticed something in the light fixture and found a razor blade left by a previous guest. There were stains and hair on the toilet, no cold water at the sink, and the taps squealed when turned. In the bedroom, the lampshade was cracked and dresser doors were hanging off. The safety chain had been removed so a light switch could go in its spot on the door frame. There was just one outlet in the whole room. The clock couldn’t be plugged in because the fridge, microwave, and TV were all connected to one adapter on the side away from the beds. The curtain kept coming undone and exposing the bedroom to the outside.
