The room had a comfortable bed and a jacuzzi tub with shower, and we enjoyed the movies and popcorn provided. In the morning there was a nice little breakfast. The B&B is at one end of the house and the owners are at the other, so it felt very private. You enter and find a note in your room with instructions for your stay. It's close to downtown and a great place to stay. I'd definitely recommend it.
The deluxe suite we had was incredible, remodeled into something almost like a mini apartment, and had a great whirlpool tub. There are several rooms available, and if they're anything like ours, they're amazing. Free drinks are provided, including beer. It's super comfortable, the best B&B I've ever stayed at, and we may have to invent reasons to visit Dubuque just to return. It deserves more than five stars.
Breakfast and tea are provided for guests, along with a wall of DVDs. The bottom-floor room is the best, with a big bed, TV, lounge area, and jacuzzi tub, and all the amenities are there. I found the stay really comfortable and homey and didn't want to leave. The owners have remodeled an old home in upper Dubuque, turning the Solon Langworthy House into a welcoming place for travelers.
Just right for me, this B&B is comfortable and beautiful, simple but charming, with lots of wholesome history.
It's really nice here! The views from the windows are beautiful, and there's a porch with tables and chairs to sit at. The beds are cozy, breakfast is yummy, and there are hot tubs too.
