Our fourth-floor harbor view was incredible. Watching the icy harbor was peaceful and beautiful, and warming up in the hot tub with the winter air outside was a highlight. The rooms were clean and comfortable, just right after being out in the Duluth cold. We had a wonderful winter stay at Pier B, with a relaxing atmosphere and great views. We'd definitely return.

I was at Pier B for a small wedding, and the food was wonderful. I had steak cooked medium rare, and it was fantastic. The view was beautiful, and I really liked the outdoor hot tub and the torches around the patio, hot tub area, and front entrance.

We chose Pier B Resort for a family getaway during the Bentleyville Tour of Lights, and the harbor view room made it special. Seeing the harbor and the glow of the lights from our window was worth the price. The kids loved picking up s'mores kits at the front desk to roast by the fire pits. The outdoor hot tub was another highlight, especially looking out at the cold harbor while soaking. Our room was clean, well maintained, and a comfortable home base. A great choice for a Duluth holiday visit, and we'd definitely come back.

We really enjoyed the stay and would come back. The location is excellent, with many Canal Park spots within easy walking distance. Families have plenty to do, including the restaurant, pool, fire pits, and activity area. The rooms seemed well soundproofed, and we didn't hear a thing all night. There were a few downsides: the greeting felt rude when we asked about checking in early, and the bathroom barn door didn't give much privacy. The restaurant is pricey, though the food wasn't bad. Paying for WiFi beyond email use also felt a bit nickel and dime-ish. Still, we'd absolutely consider staying again.

The kids made good use of the game lounge and the patios on different floors, and the nightly s’mores were a fun extra. We also loved the water side view and thought the location was great. The other views looked pretty industrial, but we were happy to pay less for one we liked less. We didn’t try the restaurant, though we heard good things, and we didn’t use the shuttle, but it seemed like a nice perk. The rooms were comfortable. The shower looked modern, but its half-glass design left the floor soaked, and the barn-style bathroom door also served as the closet door, so someone in the closet could get hit when another person came out of the bathroom. We were told in advance that we’d be on the dog-friendly floor, which was fine; there was just a brief spell of barking around 10:30 pm. The outdoor hot tub was a cool feature, though I wish it had been about 10 degrees warmer. We stayed two nights and were really impressed. The pool and hot tub area wasn’t huge, but it worked for our kids. I did feel for adults trying to relax in the hot tub, with kids constantly running back and forth from the pool. We’d love to come back in summer for the lake walk and outdoor space.
