Towneplace Suites Duluth

This is our new favorite hotel in the Duluth area. It’s new, clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Everything in the room and around the hotel smelled fresh. When we looked out the window, a family of deer was there to greet us. At the end of the day, the couch was comfortable for watching the large in-room TV. We haven’t tried the shower or slept on the bed yet, but I expect both to be good. It’s only minutes from everything we want to do, and we’ll definitely return.

We got a great deal on a room with a mini kitchen, and the place was kept really neat. It’s in a great spot, close to lots of activities but away from central Duluth, which made it more relaxing. The room was amazingly clean, and breakfast was included and awesome. This was easily our best stay in Duluth. Thanks, Daniel, for taking such good care of us. We loved it and didn’t want to go home.

I liked the clean room, the fridge and range for a longer stay, and the bedside outlets were arranged well. The TV was a decent size and had apps for signing into my own accounts. One thing that needs attention is the showerhead, which is mounted too high to adjust. I first thought there was mold in the ceiling corner, but it was a gap between the tile and ceiling. They should caulk it. That kind of shoddy work is sad to see and could lead to mold problems. I hope it gets fixed soon.

The rooms were clean, and the customer service was great. The hotel isn't on the water, but its location is still a real plus: lots of shops and places to eat are close by, and you could walk to them even without a car.
