We were disappointed that there was no ice available. The machine is outside, so they shut it off in early October to keep it from freezing. The motel is dated and definitely not new, but for an overnight stop in Durango, it met what we needed: a clean, comfortable room, a good bed, and a good shower. A decent TV is nice but not essential. If you just need a place to flop for the night, this works.

We chose it because it was cheap, and the room was awful. There was a hole in the roof, the bed was soaked from a leak, and the toilet still had pee in it. Everything was dirty and moldy. When I told the manager, she was rude and said she'd contact the owner about a partial refund for the roof hole. The beds were terrible, too. Save your money and sleep in your car instead. Do not stay here!

Don't stay here. The room was filthy and smelled like moldy laundry. I saw a cockroach run up the wall, and when I got to my car, a little one nearly came home with me. The towels were stained and dirty, and the place was so dirty I got hives. The woman at the front desk was rude. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

The staff we dealt with were very nice and did what they could to sort things out. Still, the place was rough and definitely not clean, despite reviews that led us to book for a couple of nights. The rooms are basic and have what you need, but I wouldn't send someone I care about here. On the first night we found the shower valve was broken, so we couldn't shower until the maintenance guy came the next day. Prices are good for the area, but that didn't make up for it.
