Gable House Bed & Breakfast Inn

Charlie and Tracie made us feel like friends, not just guests, with lovely conversation and helpful information about Durango and the surrounding area. Their historic home has a nostalgic, welcoming feel, and during our December visit the Christmas decorations made it especially warm and festive. We slept comfortably and had delicious homemade breakfasts. The center of downtown is a short, scenic walk away. A memorable stay at a B&B we'd happily visit again and recommend.

I’ve stayed at the gable house twice on business trips to FLC, and it’s been a great experience both times. Tracy is a wonderful cook, and the rooms are roomy and comfortable. The hosts are easy to reach if you have questions, and downtown is only a few minutes away on foot. I highly recommend it if you’re in Durango.

The hosts created such a warm atmosphere, with friendly conversation and holiday decorations. Breakfast was fresh, with plenty of coffee and foods worked into the meal. We were greeted at the door with warm smiles, and our room felt cozy, with wonderfully soft sheets. Gable House B&B has a charming, well-kept exterior and garden. We’d love to come again.

Charlie and Tracie were delightful hosts. While we enjoyed Tracie's delicious gourmet breakfast, Charlie told us some fascinating history about Gable House. My husband, Levi, and I stayed three nights in August and had a wonderful time. Our room was spotless and decorated beautifully to suit the home's era. The location is great too, within walking distance of lovely restaurants and coffee shops in historic downtown Durango. Gable House Bed and Breakfast is a special place. We'll definitely return and tell our friends and family to visit.
