Hampton Inn Durango

I've stayed here many times and it's usually good. This time, though, I found white cat hair on my black snow pants and sweater after laying them on the bed. The top blanket was white, so I rubbed my black socks on it to check, and found hair there too. There was cat hair in the sheets as well. I called the front desk for fresh sheets and blankets and folded the contaminated ones inward. The night staff was kind and offered points or a discount, but the morning staff dismissed the issue. I received neither. Check your bedding.

Angel was so patient and friendly when helping us reschedule after booking issues. We stayed a few nights at the Hampton Inn during our family visit from Colorado Springs for the Polar Express Train ride. Everything was clean, the service was friendly, and my girls had fun in the pool. I especially liked the hot tub.

Phoebe made our stay great and gave us useful tips on restaurants and things to do. The staff and manager were great, too. It's in a convenient spot, with a grocery store down the road and a straight shot to purgatory.

We usually stay at the Double Tree, but here we felt about 10x more appreciated for our business, and it cost half as much. The staff were the best I've experienced at a hotel. They welcomed us at check-in and offered a drink as Hilton Honors members. We also got a text asking how things were going, and someone came to our door to see if we needed towels or anything else. We've stayed all over Durango, and this was the best staff anywhere. Thank you all so much!
