Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Durham

A friend gifted me a few nights here, and I was really comfortable. The staff were pleasant and polite, and I didn’t feel any negative energy, which was a huge relief after the situations I’ve been dealing with. Nothing was rusty, there were no odd smells or suspicious stains, and I actually enjoyed the eggs at breakfast. Thank you.

This is my new favorite hotel when I’m visiting North Carolina. The service is always good and the rooms are clean. My only issue was the balcony room: there was so much pollen on it that I couldn’t use it, and it looked like it hadn’t been touched. I feel balcony cleaning should be part of turning over a room. Otherwise, everything was good.

The location made it easy to get to the highway and nearby restaurants, and parking was simple. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet. The front desk staff were great. We accidentally walked through the lobby during a staff meeting, but everyone still went out of their way to wish us a good day.

Freedy and yanira made a huge difference to our stay. They were approachable, organized, and knowledgeable, and their clear, respectful communication made us feel valued and put us at ease. Freedy was calm and friendly while making sure our needs were handled promptly. Yanira was warm and attentive, and had things arranged before we even needed to ask. Both took care with every request and showed real commitment to excellent service. Their mix of efficiency and genuine kindness stood out, and they’re a real asset to the hotel. We had a truly outstanding experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return. We highly recommend the hotel because of the service they provide. DH
