SpringHill Suites by Marriott Durham Chapel Hill

The location was very good, and nearby hotels often don’t have room for two adults and three small kids. But the room was cramped. We’d been told by Marriott that the pullout couch would be in a separate room, though it was in the same room as the two queen beds, divided only by a cabinet. The advertised kitchen was just a microwave and a small refrigerator that couldn’t fit a large bottle. Weekday breakfast ended sharply at 9, with long lines and too few seats for everyone.

There were plenty of food and shopping choices nearby, and the location was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast had a tasty range of options. Our room was spacious and nice, and there were fun activities too. I’d recommend staying here.

The indoor pool and hot tub were great, and the room felt cozy and really nice. It’s close to shopping, food, and pretty much everything in between. The staff feel like friends or family, and this place feels like home. We’ll stay here for my Duke Med trips and whenever we’re back in the area. Just stay here, you won’t regret it. 💙🩵
