The Perch Hotel

The lounge was such a welcoming place to linger, with a fire, a nice spread of yogurt, fruit, teas, coffee, and danishes, and space to chat, play pool or board games, or enjoy the view. We went for time to ourselves and mostly kept to ourselves, but joined the free Sunday morning yoga class and never made it back to our room. The staff were so nice and fun to talk with. We loved the privacy of our secluded suite, along with its lovely, comfortable rooms and gorgeous bathroom. The fall colors were amazing, and I look forward to staying at the Perch again.

A really cute boutique hotel in the Catskills, with sweet decor and a clean downstairs area for relaxing over board games. The location worked well for us, with all the towns we wanted to visit just 20-30 minutes away. Highly recommend!

The Perch felt more like a story than a hotel, somewhere to settle in, feel at ease, and maybe let something wonderful happen. We arrived on a snowy night to just the right lights, sounds, and music. A family was playing chess at the bar while another group talked by the gorgeous fireplace. The music somehow suited every mood. Our room had all the luxury and comfort we needed, and Sunday yoga was the thing that finally got us out of it. The calm instructor reminded me that, after years at a laptop, I could still manage camel, lizard, and other desert creatures. Locals and hotel guests took the class together. We spent the morning talking with new friends, admiring the views and decor, warming up by the fire, and flipping through books. I texted every wedding planner I know to recommend The Perch, and if I worked in film or TV, I'd tell location scouts about it too. Am I gushing? I loved it. Don't miss this gem. It's like finding fossils in your hearthstone.

We took our two kids, ages 1 and 5, and a group of friends with kids to The Perch Hotel in summer. It was just the escape from city life we needed. The views were stunning, and the hotel was spotless and beautifully maintained. We loved the indoor lodge room, with its big fireplace, cozy feel, and warm smell of wood. Movie nights, playing music, and just hanging out together made it feel like home. The stay was calm, comfortable, family-friendly, and incredibly refreshing. We'd love to come back with the family. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
