We spent most of our summer visit outdoors, especially enjoying the beach at low tide. At high tide the water seems to come right up to the cabin. The playground has a ping pong table and horseshoes, so there are things for adults to play too. Inside, it’s easy to imagine a winter stay by the fire with games, books, or puzzles. I arrived without expectations, but that sunset view over the water as I walked in made the place click for me. It’s a lovely spot to unplug and enjoy good company. I hope I can come back.

The nighttime view is something to linger over, with lights on the horizon that had us guessing whether we were looking at cargo ships or cruise ships. We first discovered this peaceful place years ago during a special getaway, after staying at a bed and breakfast, and we were so glad we added it to the trip. We fell in love with the cabins and their heated bathroom floors. It’s a beautiful place we’ll always remember, and one we’d happily make reservations for again.

The Stargazer was just right for the two of us to relax for a few days. It has a wood stove, a small kitchen, a table, and a bathroom with heated floors. The beach and property are beautiful, and there’s free firewood; kayaks and paddle boards are available to rent. It’s cozy and comfortable, though not fancy or upscale, which suited us fine as a place to get away from everything. First visit for us, but we’ll be back.

Beach Haven has been my favorite destination for as long as I can remember. I first came as a baby, and my family spent vacations here for years, going back to the mid to late 1950s. We’ve kept up the family gatherings ever since, and my sisters still visit every year with their families.

We had a lovely stay exploring the seaside and listening to the waves at night. The cabin was cute and quiet, a nice way to spend time in nature. It came ready for cooking, with a full kitchen, utensils, dishes, cups, and silverware. Bedding was provided in the bedrooms, and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. I’d come back.
