For a road trip on the way to get married, this was a pretty “mid” stay. The location is convenient for travelers, but I have a hard time recommending it, especially after seeing so many glowing reviews that helped us choose it. The shower had weak pressure, and the temperature handle was leaking. The sheets didn’t fit, so they shifted whenever we moved, and the small square couch-like pillows weren’t comfortable at all. We didn’t have enough towels either. It was hot and muggy when we arrived, with the A/C set to Heat and about 76 degrees. Outside, the surrounding area reeked of weed, and not the good stuff, more like someone rolled up a skunk. The rooms and building otherwise seemed modern and in decent shape for the price, though some vinyl flooring in our room was damaged. The gentleman at the counter was hard to hear and mumbled, but he was nice and helpful.

Our room was clean and had lots of space, and we had an incredible stay. Gus at the front desk was amazing, really friendly and helpful. Letty helped us too, but she was rude and snotty. Best Western should do better with its front office associates.

The remodeled room had a cool, techy look, and the bed was great. HVAC worked well too. I had a few burnt-out bulbs, a slow-draining shower, and ran out of hot water one morning. I’m chalking those up to bad luck, though. I don’t regret staying and wouldn’t hesitate to come back soon.

The area felt safe, even though I arrived late at night, and it was a nice stop while traveling. My room was clean and very nice, with a comfortable bed. The gentleman who checked me in was awesome. I’d stay again.
10/10
The first-floor room smelled awful and the bed hadn’t been made right, so I asked to move. The room on the second floor was much more pleasant. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and I slept well. Breakfast was great too.
