The owners are really nice and helpful, and the remodel kept a lot of the motel's old character. It has a retro feel, updated for today's traveler. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I had a desk with an ergonomic chair for work. Wi-Fi, a microwave and mini-fridge, and a big flat-screen TV with HBO were all there. A stay at a motel can actually be memorable.

I stayed here on September 13, 2021, and it was well worth the price. The owners were great, and the room was like what you'd pay over a hundred dollars for elsewhere. I liked the one-level layout, with no stairs and doors opening right onto the parking area. I'll use this place whenever I visit El Paso. The number 50 bus stops around the corner, and for $1.50 it gets you to the airport in about 10 minutes. Very convenient!

I've stayed at this motel plenty of times without any problems for me or my company. On my latest visit, though, the new front desk guy harassed me through the night, calling and then walking to my door to bang on it. I'm a government employee, and I won't return while he's working there or recommend the place. He needs to be fired.

We needed somewhere to crash before our 7pm flight that day, and this is the only place on the airport strip that could take us so early. We got there around 5am-6am and paid cash for two days because checkout was at 11am. We didn't mind, since it was cheap-ish. My dad can't bend or walk far, and the bearded man at the front desk was so courteous, carried our bags, and turned on the AC for us. The building is small and dim, but looked renovated and was clean inside and out, including the parking lot. It was well lit and felt safe, the linens were fresh, and there wasn't that hotel smell. I'll come back.

For $58 a night in El Paso, it's hard to beat. There aren't many amenities, but you can walk to food and a few other things. The room was reasonably clean, with free HBO on the TV and plenty of hot water and shower pressure. The quilts looked pretty worn, and the top sheet had a few old cigarette burns that hadn't gone all the way through. I'd recommend it if you need a budget hotel around here.
