High Desert Inn

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and for the cheapest rate the room was fine, clean, but old. That room isn't pictured online and seems to be in the part of the hotel that hasn't been updated. If you're after a restful stay, I'd upgrade to one of the rooms above $45. For a place to crash, go out for the night, and swim, you can't beat the price and location.

The room turned out to be large and clean, and the pool was a good size with a great hot tub. I was a little concerned coming in through the back door and hallway, but was pleasantly surprised once I got to our room. We enjoyed the stay, and I'd recommend the hotel and come back.

The room looked a bit dated, but it was very clean, and for the price the stay exceeded our expectations. We were traveling home and needed somewhere to sleep, and I had my service dog with me. The staff were beyond excellent and extremely attentive. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Everything stinks, and the elevators felt scary enough that I worried they might get stuck. Our room key seemed to work only once, so we had to go back to the desk for another. The employees sat in the hall by the pool playing on their phones while all of this needed attention. Either the manager never leaves the office or the owners think this is okay. The room was disgusting. There was hair from previous guests on the sheets and pillows, stains all over the carpet, boogers on the walls, and more stains. The shower curtain was dirty and covered in other guests' hair. I usually don't bash businesses, but this place badly needs attention. If there hadn't been a huge expo in town, we'd have moved out immediately.
