Theodora was a lovely room, and it made our stay at this historic hotel feel even more special. It's clearly cared for and loved, and I really appreciate all the work that keeps the place lively and fun. There's plenty to do, from ghost tours and heated pools to porch games, axe throwing, and the BB gun range. The staff were friendly and polite, and I also met the owner on the stairs, who was lovely. I love old hotels, and this one is a destination in itself, plus it's close to downtown Eureka.

The hotel has a lot to do, and its history was fascinating. The lobby staff were great, and we enjoyed our stay. Still, the room felt stuffy and smelled musty, and housekeeping only left towels and coffee packets in a bag by the door each morning. Food and drinks, especially breakfast, were pricey. For what we paid, I expected more, so this was probably a one-time visit.

On our more recent visit, we stopped by the Skybar on the fourth floor for a drink and maybe some appetizers while waiting for our room. We were asked to wait in the hallway, even though it didn't seem busy. After a while, the hostess came out and asked how many, though there were only two of us standing there. We said two and asked to sit on the balcony. The couple ahead of us went to the left side without any issue, but the hostess followed us to the right and insisted we sit by the door. I don't like being startled by a door opening and closing beside me, so we left. We usually tip well for good service, but that hostess's rudeness cost her a tip. This wasn't our only disappointing experience. About three months ago, we arrived for breakfast at 10, even though it ran until 11, and staff were already stacking chairs on tables. The buffet wasn't available, which was fine, so we ordered pancakes and asked for warm syrup. We were told they don't heat syrup, even though we'd had it warmed on earlier visits. There were hardly any diners, and now I can see why. When a restaurant is quiet and there are no people waiting, it's hard to understand why two guests can't choose where to sit.

Room 201 is my favorite, both for its size and for a few memorable experiences I've had there. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and I've enjoyed staying at the Crescent with family, friends, and on solo trips. The cottages are also worth considering for a family group, with plenty of space and lovely views. The people make a big difference. Danielle, the director, is wonderful, and Chad, Abby, and Eduardo are helpful with phone calls and scheduling. Everyone I've met, from the bartenders and servers to room service, has been kind and attentive. The spa team gives great massages and facials, too. I love breakfast downstairs, and later in the day the SkyBar's pizza and chocolate martinis are a treat. There's a good time to visit in any season. From check-in to check-out, the hospitality keeps bringing me back to Eureka Springs, which has become a home away from home for me. The Crescent is a big part of that, and I'd recommend it for a memorable getaway.

We took our first family trip to Arkansas and wanted somewhere memorable. I knew of Eureka Springs AR, but hadn't heard that the Crescent was considered haunted until I booked it. The hotel is gorgeous, full of history and stories, and the staff were fabulous. The grounds are peaceful, and the terrace views are amazing. Even the drive up the hill was an experience. We'd absolutely bring the family back. Our room was $110 for one night at the military rate, plus tax. Check-in was at 4 pm and checkout at 11 am. Extending to 1 pm cost $35. We had pizza in the hotel's Skydinning room and two cocktails each for four people, which came to $98 before tip. We skipped breakfast, which is available in the Crystal Dining Room or by room service. The 8 pm ghost tour was $29 per person plus tax for our group of four. Did we see a ghost or have an encounter? Maybe. The hotel offers a shuttle into Eureka Springs, which we didn't use, and the front desk can help contact the trolleys. Staff recommended calling directly for future bookings. This was a spontaneous stay, so you'll have to Google the number. Love the Crescent! 🌙
