The Razorback Lodge

We paid for two nights but left after the first. The toilet leaked, the sink wouldn't drain, and we found roaches. The room was really dated, and the bed left both my husband's and my backs hurting in the morning. We'd stayed at razorback lodge before and found it decent, but this time was a different story. I wouldn't recommend it.

The jacuzzi room was great and super clean. The folks in the office gave us such a warm welcome, too. I really appreciate how kind these people are.

A roach on the ceiling greeted us when we first entered, and I didn't spot another one, but we kept our belongings in the vehicle. Apart from that, it's good value and well located if you just need somewhere to sleep. We found a large room with a king bed at the last minute, during the off season, and the price was affordable compared with most places. The mattress is an older spring type. A drink or two might make it easier to ignore.

At check-in, my reservation with my credit card number was left on the front desk where anyone could have taken it. In the room, I had to clean the air conditioner filter myself, and daylight showed around the unit. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and soft spots in the floor. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the place feels run down, with rooms that seem untouched for years. It was a disappointing stay.
