Hydrangea Inn

Renee is an excellent cook. When we told her one person in our party was diabetic, she made delicious breakfasts to suit and brought them out hot. The house was immaculate, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It had every amenity imaginable.

The Bungalow is a detached, private space with its own courtyard, kitchen, dining area, living room, and bedroom. The bed was super comfy, and we slept incredibly well. The breakfast was amazing, too. At first I thought there was no way my wife and I could eat that much, but it was so good we finished it all. My wife and I found this place on a recent trip through Eureka and stayed downtown. We’d promised ourselves we wouldn’t stay downtown Eureka again because we didn’t feel safe there. Hydrangea is in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by lovely homes. Thanks for giving us such a charming, safe place to stay!

A warm, friendly welcome, a beautiful home, and a delicious breakfast made this a special stay. It’s the cleanest and most comfortable place imaginable. My wife and I had an amazing visit, and if we travel back to this part of the world, we’d definitely book the Hydrangea Inn again.

We spent a night in the Redwood Bungalow and were charmed by the delicious homemade breakfast and the fresh orange juice waiting in the fridge. It felt like a true B&B, and it was a great stop for two tired campers heading to see the Redwoods. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cleaner room. The place was impeccable, like someone had scrubbed it with a toothbrush.
