It was a VERY CHEAP hotel, so keep your expectations low. I booked two rooms. They were clean, but both smelled like cigarette smoke, which is typical. The property was worn, the AC/heat unit was soooo noisy, and four of the five ice machines were broken. Pretty standard Motel 6 experience, but I’d stay again, lol.

The bed was comfortable, and otherwise the stay was fine. The desk person was great and really helpful. The main downside was the renovations: the parking lot was torn up, our remote needed batteries, and construction meant there weren’t any rooms available closer to parking.

It was reasonably priced, clean, modern, and friendly, and they welcomed my dogs. There was room to park our truck and boat, and the lot was well lit and monitored. This place changed how I think about Hotel 6. Thank you!

The rooms were good, but the front desk wasn’t very friendly. I needed a receipt for reimbursement and couldn’t get one. I paid the full $150, which felt like a bit much for a Motel 6. I usually book through Expedia, but didn’t this time. I regret that.

The studio suite had just been remodeled and was nice, but without dishes or utensils it wasn’t very useful. Pets are allowed, with a $10 fee per pup for the whole stay, up to two dogs. The ice and vending machines are under a carport. Parking was cramped and the lot was quite small, though luckily it wasn’t full. It’s right by the historic district. I’d stay again.
