The whole stay was stressful and upsetting, even though they refunded us. It didn’t make up for the hassle, lost time, or having to find another hotel. They also offered 5,000 reward points but couldn’t clearly say what they were worth, maybe something minimal like WiFi. We arrived at 3:00 PM, the check-in time, and were told our room wasn’t ready because of understaffing and that there was a waiting list. They refused any accommodation for the wait, such as credit or late checkout, and we waited about 45 minutes for a room. It wasn’t clean: there was hair in the bed and shower, and red or pink stains on the sheets. They moved us to another room, but that was just as bad, with hair in the tub, on the sheets and pillowcases, and oil stains on the pillowcases. We asked for cleaning supplies and fresh linens so we could deal with it ourselves, but housekeeping had none available, so we wiped things down with our own disinfectant wipes. This was by far my worst hotel experience. I hope they fix the staffing and cleanliness problems so nobody else has to go through it.

The rooms were clean and smelled good, and the beds were comfy. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was good and hot. This is probably one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area.

It’s clean, has a modern feel, and the free breakfast is actually good. It isn’t fancy, but it does the job when you need somewhere to stay. I’d pick it over the Renaissance next door in a heartbeat.

The website got us into a mess that meant we needed an extra room. Apparently “standard room” for two adults doesn’t mean two beds, even though the room we booked for one person was labeled “king standard.” We graciously accepted that, but then waited 15 minutes at the desk while the guy messed around on the computer. When he finally asked me to insert my card, the charge was much higher than the rates for the other rooms. I checked online and saw the lower rate. Swindlers!

The front desk girls were great, and breakfast was good, just a standard hotel breakfast without many choices. The room was clean, though there was hair all over the bathroom floor. A cabinet had trim hanging off, and when I moved the curtain to let sunlight in, its screw fell off. Set the AC low in advance because it takes hours to reach the temperature you want. Going from 73° to 70° took about four hours.
