Comfort Inn Farmington

We had an amazing stay, and Tisha made my family feel like we were kin, not strangers. It felt as if she'd been expecting us and we belonged there. Thanks to her and the amazing staff. If we travel that way again, we already know where we'll stay.

On the morning of what we thought was our third night, we asked about room service because we still hadn't had fresh towels or made beds. That's when we were told we'd paid for only two nights, had to pay for another night, and needed to switch rooms because ours wasn't available. We had understood that we were all set for three nights when we booked. My boyfriend's company rents hundreds of rooms for its employees at this company and at Comfort Inn several times a year. After this mix-up, we will not be staying at this location again anytime soon.

I book weekend stays here to visit my son and family using my employee rate, and I've never felt so downgraded. I paid $95 for a room for two nights. The worst part was that my mother was stranded in town because of the weather, but I couldn't change the room so she could stay with us. She, her driver, my sister, and my niece ended up sharing my king bed with me. Breakfast wasn't very good, either. When I got a plate for my mother, who needed somewhere to stay for the night, I was accused of being hungry. I also got no room service. It felt like that was because I was on an employee rate and wasn't paying out of my own pocket.

The whole stay was a nightmare. Traffic from the main street was loud all night and morning, the room smelled stale, and the hallway carpet had a horrible odor, like a cat had been living there. The water was shut off without warning, so we couldn't shower or get hot water. When we politely asked for a refund, they wouldn't reimburse us. Checkout was at 11, but housekeeping kept coming back to bang on the door and call out that they were housekeeping, even after I yelled more than twice that we knew checkout time. Then the front desk called at 11 to remind us as if we didn't know. The room itself was right by the busy street, and the repeated knocking made the morning even worse. Don't waste your money here or you'll regret it.
