The location is amazing, but I won’t spend this kind of money on this property again. I really question how the Hilton graduate is classified as a 4 star hotel. It’s dirty, old, and unkept, and I can’t recommend it. There was no help with our bags when we arrived, and the staff seemed untrained in hospitality. The lobby is quaint and eclectically decorated, in keeping with the Graduate properties, but things went downhill once we reached our two rooms on the 10th floor. The carpets were stained and dirty, the bathroom sinks were scuffed everywhere, and one was clogged and drained slowly. The rooms felt so dingy that I didn’t want to lie on the bedding or walk barefoot on the carpet. There was no glassware in the bathrooms and none of the basic amenities like a toothbrush kit, shaving kit, or comb. The air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted and ran when it wanted to, so the room stayed warm.

I like the atmosphere and the drinks are good, but tonight felt uncomfortable. My friend and I are both well over 21 and have been repeat customers, though we’re definitely on the younger side. They questioned the addresses on our IDs and asked us to confirm where we live, which felt excessive. A few minutes later we overheard the bartenders gossiping about fake IDs and how to tell if one is real, and it seemed directed at us. After we asked to close out and handed over our card, it took about 10 minutes to get it back while the gossip continued. We left feeling singled out and unwelcome, and the service means we won’t return.

The rooms and bar area were both really nice, and the location worked perfectly for us. We needed a couple of extra things during the stay, and the staff handled it without a problem. Great hotel, 10/10, I'd definitely stay again.

The decor is cute, but the room was not clean. There was dried, crusty urine on the toilet seat, black and orange buildup in the shower grout, and dried grout stuck in the sink. It seems like the grout isn't being cleaned; Tilex works, hint. Turning on the shower meant reaching in and getting sprayed with freezing water, since the glass door by the faucet wouldn't open. Hope you like cold showers. The beds were uncomfortable, and I could hear even small noises from outside the room, which was frustrating as a light sleeper. The lobby wine was cheap and unpleasant, so bring your own if you want a glass there. On our last night, a neighboring guest left a dog alone, and it scratched at the door and barked loudly. I called the front desk, and they were happy to move us if we wanted. We gave the owners until bedtime to come back and settle the dog. I hope the hotel contacted them, because leaving it like that was inconsiderate. I also blame the hotel for allowing it in the first place.

There are tons of shops and places to eat within walking distance, and getting an Uber was easy. I’ve been visiting Fayetteville for years, but this work trip was my first chance to stay here. The lobby coffee was great, and I liked the evening cocktails too. The rooms were on the small side, though not too small. A lot of people who couldn't stay here ended up at The Roxy and complained about their room sizes. I'd definitely choose this place again if I needed a hotel in Fayetteville.
