The owner put me in a room across from the office and watched me from the big office window. Whenever I looked outside or opened my door, he was either looking at me from there or standing outside my room. It felt entirely too invasive, and I'll NEVER stay here again. Try the Mt.Rose instead, they were cleaner and nicer, and minded their own business.

The owners are nice, the rooms are clean, and the price is good. I always stay here when I need a hotel room. The bed is comfortable and the water pressure is good.

If you're a person of color, they may make excuses about why you can't stay. A Black family had paid for a week, but was told to leave every day at 11 am and return at 1:30 pm. Then, after taking their money, the hotel told them they couldn't stay. They seemed happy to help other families who weren't Black. It's all over FB. I hope the family gets what they're owed.

The owner was super friendly, and the room was immaculate, updated, and had modern amenities. For such a reasonable price, it was a pleasant surprise. It was also extremely peaceful, with no "undesirables" hanging around bothering guests, something that can definitely happen along the 301 corridor. This place surpasses the other motels in the area on every level.

A few weeks ago, I went in looking for a room for three days. The short, stout, bald-headed gentleman at the front desk told me I could stay only one day, not three. That made it clear to me he didn't want my money or my business. He seemed very bigoted.
