Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fayetteville

We only stayed one night, and it was enjoyable overall. The staff were awesome and took our comments about the problems seriously, starting work on them before we left. There was a loose faucet, weak water pressure, a missing roller for lowering the window shade, and a mini fridge that didn’t work. I think it may just need regular maintenance checks. The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including hot and cold cereal, eggs, pastries, juices, tea, coffee, and make-your-own waffles. Staff across the front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast were amazing. I was in town for work, and the location just off the highway put me near lots of shopping, restaurants, and other things to do. Check-in was quick and easy. I arrived before 3pm, and Alexis was great about checking me in early and suggesting places to eat. I liked the Christmas decorations, which gave the hotel a homey feel. My room had plenty of space to keep my things, a big comfortable bed and linens, a good bathroom, and a workspace. Great stay, and I’d come back next time I’m in town.

The hotel wasn’t anything extraordinary or exciting, but the people were friendly and accommodating. We appreciated that they welcome dogs, though there is a fee. Breakfast was pretty good, with lots of choices and everything tasting good. We liked it better than the local diner food we’d had the day before.

Madison made us feel so special, and I have to give her credit for that. We got in late in the afternoon after a long drive, and she greeted us right away with such kindness and knowledge. The room was clean, roomy, and really nice. When the TV wasn’t working properly at first, I called Madison and she fixed it remotely right away. I’m very pleased with this Fairfield!
