La Quinta Inn & Suites Fayetteville

The room had a musty, old-basement smell. The front desk said she'd try to get extra pillows to my daughter, but they never arrived, and she didn't check whether we still needed them.

There was no hot water when I went to shower in the morning. I told the woman at the desk, and she asked if I knew how the shower worked. Yes, I do, it's not rocket science. She said she'd have a guy look at it, but I was leaving, so that didn't help me. She didn't offer a discount or anything and didn't seem to care.

We come here often, since my husband travels for work and I'm the passenger princess. If anyone says those don't exist, they definitely do, LOL. The staff are helpful and friendly whenever we happen to arrive, whatever the hour. Breakfast is tasty, with waffles, cereal, pastries, hot food, and more. We don't use the pool or other amenities, so I can't say how those are. I just wish there were an extra blanket in the room without having to ask staff. I get cold under the thin down topper. Still, thanks, team, for another great stay.

My room's heater didn't work, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out. They need a better way to report problems. Still, I'd recommend the place to family and friends. It's in a really convenient spot, and although it's pet friendly, the dogs didn't cause smells or noise the night I stayed. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast had biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage patties, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, and more.
